Evernote
Multi-platform information manager with tagging and search.
Evernote is a great application for making your important documents available anywhere, any time. For people who travel, collaborate with a team, work from multiple offices, or who are seeking a paperless office, Evernote is a great system for storing and accessing resource information.
On the downside, Evernote is less useful as a task list. Evernote is a virtual filing cabinet, and Evernote as a virtual task list works about the same as a regular filing cabinet. The chief danger is that you will lose your tasks somewhere in the midst of all your files and notes.
The best way to use Evernote is as a repository for information. Keep your tasks in a true task manager, and when you have a task that requires resource information in Evernote, attach a link to the task. (Every document in Evernote can be linked to.)
